I first met Paula and John at our studio.
I enjoyed listening to them describe the intimate details of their wedding. Like the custom-designed Fleur de Lis dance floor monogram honoring Paula’s mother who passed a few years ago. Paula’s mother loved animal prints (leopard being her favorite), and everyone knew that about her. Touches of leopard print were found in unexpected places throughout the ceremony and reception.
Their first dance was a mix of 11 songs (wow), which represents the evolution of their relationship. Mirror dancers joined in and got the party started!
And pretty special for them that Jay, their talented son, composed all of the songs that were used in their wedding film!
Paula and John told me how the numbers 11.11 had significant meaning in their lives. While they were describing how coincidences, joyful moments, opportunities, and luck in their lives are often related to 11.11, I’m sitting there thinking, “I can’t wait to see the look on their faces when I tell them I was born on 11.11!” Another coincidence turned into a joyful moment! We hugged a lot that day 🙂

We also wanted to mention that we didn’t realize you’d posted such beautiful comments about us alongside our Instafilm on your Instagram page! I don’t believe we’ve visited your page post-wedding but once we saw our film, we wanted to see if anything was there. Reading your comments was the “icing on the cake”, and our night was that much sweeter because of it!
We want to thank you and Joe from the bottom of our hearts, for capturing the true essence of our wedding day. Our film immediately transported us to those incredible moments, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Please tell Joe his editing was fantastic!! He seamlessly blended each scene with Jay’s music like the pro he is!
We think it’s also important to let you both know how unique and impactful your artistry is. In times like these, when so much is uncertain, and lives are being changed and lost every day, there are always glimpses of hope. Your work highlights joy. It’s as pure and meaningful as that.
John and I are blessed to have had the opportunity to share this part of our journey with you. Of course, we’ll stay in touch! You’ve provided us with a means to reflect, which fills us equally with humility and pride (an uncommon combination for sure). You two are survivors, and we know you’ll weather this storm together. Your business may be taking a hit right now, but this too shall pass. Before you know it, you’ll be operating at 1111%; stronger than ever! And we will remain united in prayer on your behalf until that day arrives.
