Martine and Nick’s wedding was postponed due to the pandemic. Instead of having the same wedding, the couple had a small wedding ceremony in California and rescheduled with Republic Nola for a party only.

However, they decided to do something very different for their reception. In over 20 years of filming weddings I’ve never seen a bride and groom perform an entire concert in front of their guests, but that’s just what Martine and Nick did. The duo started off with Nick on stage kicking off “Something” by the Beatles as Martine made her way down the staircase at Republic Nola to eventually join him on stage. The couple passionately tore through a set list of original songs they’d written, one of which directly spoke to the situation regarding their wedding. For the grand finale they ended with an emotional performance of “Come What May”, famously from the film Moulin Rouge.

Besides the couple’s set, guests were treated to performances from Martine’s cousin and father who were at one point joined on stage by Martine for a portion of a song.

We feel honored to have been chosen to play such an integral part of the wedding day for these talented artists.
