April and Alex have a chemistry that is undeniable. Spending any amount of time around them and its easy to see how they are soulmates. Their wedding day had a very laissez-faire vibe which helped the couple to truly be in the moment. April’s suite at the Royal Sonesta overlooking Bourbon Street was the perfect backdrop for the first look. From there we took pedicabs to the House of Blues for photos by Lady Walker with Photos for Weirdos.

The ceremony took place in the Voodoo Garden at the House of Blues where Rev Andrew Ward gave a captivating and hilarious performance as the officiant.
After the ceremony the entire wedding took to the streets for a Second Line parade led by the Kinfolk Brass Band. The reception was held in the HOB Parrish room. Instead of a cake there was a mountain of Donuts from District Donuts.

For entertainment, we were all treated to the dynamic sounds of the Payton Falgoust Band. All in all it was an evening filled with pure love and enjoyment.
