Ashley + Douglas - NOPSI Hotel
Ashley and Douglas’ wedding was an exercise in pure beauty, joy, and happy tears. Ashley had her bridal prep in an amazing suite at the Roosevelt Hotel. Watch as she tears up while getting ready with her mom and watch her dad fight back the tears when he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time!
Next, it was off to Lafayette Square where photographer Lance Nicoll took the bridal party and family portraits. Despite the rather windy conditions, he made it work, but it’s easy to make it work when your subjects are this beautiful and in love.
The Ceremony was reverent and classic as always in the Immaculate Conception Church on Baronne and afterward, we braved the wind again for a second line parade down Baronne St to the NOPSI Hotel where a fantastically beautiful display was created by Belinda Belk with Blue Gardenia Events.
The Bucktown Allstars got everyone to dance the night away and the evening even featured an impromptu performance of “God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood himself!”.
